Still can't believe I finished the season like this! Highest rank of the season achieved on the final day. 2.3m after GW19, all the way up to 127K. Need to take this momentum forward into next season! 😁🥳⬆️

@FPLNightmare @FPLD_Unit My plan is to get 2 Coventry players, which I can then happily bench for the GW3 game. And I get this GW2 bench boost with that plan. Struggling to see the negatives of this tbh assuming Rudoni is fit.

I was originally looking at a GW1 bench boost but I think GW2 works better based on a draft like this. Also means a very strong squad, targeting all the best fixtures in GW1. Combine this with a free hit in GW4 and it looks 🔥 to me.

@FPL_Harry @FFScout Totally agree and great point about the set piece threat without Casemiro. Far more attacking threat than Shaw and better DEFCON too. He hasn't left my draft yet.

@FPLAntoneeRobbo Really not a fan because there are far too many good priced options in midfield and forward this year. We also can't assume that DEFCON will have the same impact this season.

@FPL__S7S Not sure if I agree with all the Luke Shaw hype. His attacking threat last zeason was basically zero and he didn't pick up DEFCON much either. For just £0.5m more you get both DEFCON and attacking threat in Maguire.

@FPLcoventry I had him most of last season but there are just too many good forward options and most of the others seem to offer better value I think. Also, the fact that so many of his goals were penalties concerns me a little - not sure if that is sustainable.

@FplMode For a "threemium" draft I would favour the combination of Bruno, Haaland and Palmer, with one of the £5.5m Arsenal defenders instead of Gabriel. Seems like a bit more upside to me and it was easier than I thought to put together, given how generous some of the other prices are!

In case anyone is considering the triple premium route of Bruno, Haaland and Palmer, it can be done - and the team looks quite good too I think. Works especially well with a free hit in GW3.

After the price reveals yesterday, I honestly doubted if I could fit both Bruno and Haaland into my team. Now that the game is live, it's much easier than I realised because everybody else feels underpriced?!
