Yes I am very well aware in fact my family's been aware since we first came over here because the Catholic Church played a very big role in the liberalization of Italy despite the supposed conflict between Garibaldi and the Church of Rome It was all window dressing much like other wars and conflicts throughout history both sides at the top were friends of one another just like it was in world War II with all the allies.
