RESIDENTS across Tameside will soon have new opportunities to influence decisions affecting their towns as a revamped programme of Community Forums launches this month.
The new forums, which replace the borough’s previous Neighbourhood Forums, are intended to strengthen links between residents, councillors and community organisations while providing a platform for people to raise concerns, discuss local priorities and help shape future investment.

Three talented young dancers from Tameside are preparing to take to the stage alongside internationally acclaimed professional performers after earning places in the prestigious English Youth Ballet (EYB) production of Swan Lake.
In March, Holly Philburn, Margot Kennedy and Hope Warner successfully secured places in the elite cast of 97 dancers following highly competitive auditions.

A popular summer event celebrating local food, drink and community spirit is set to return to Stalybridge this June.
Stalybridge Street Fest will take place in Armentieres Square on three evenings throughout the summer, bringing together street food traders, artisan producers, entertainment and a vibrant festival atmosphere in the heart of the town.

Inspiring Animal Therapy CIC celebrated the launch of its new home at the Etherow Centre, on the border of Tameside and Glossopdale, with an open day that attracted visitors keen to learn more about the therapeutic benefits of working with animals.
