Nobody tells you how long it takes to know if your community-building efforts are working.
Looking back at @scalekitinc's first SF Tech Week, there's a lot I'm proud of, and a few experiments I wish we'd been braver about.

Looks like our Hermes plugin has taken off a bit, and the chatter under it is mostly "why Scalekit over the others?"
Thought I'd take a moment to share how we think about this.
Getting an agent to call thousands of tools is table stakes now. Every platform in this space does it, us included.
The hard part starts after that. Your agent is acting for a real person, inside systems your customer owns.
โ Your customers' systems don't all use OAuth. Some use key pairs, service accounts, admin-level access. We handle those out of the box.
โ Every customer has that one internal API or MCP server nobody has a connector for. You can plug it in, and it gets the same auth and logging as a native connector.
โ An agent with 500 tools in context is slow and hard to trust. You give each agent a bundle of exactly the tools it needs, behind its own URL.
โ Every call is streamed and audited. And if your customer needs it to run in their own cloud, it can.
We're building for depth: the stuff that decides whether an agent makes it to production.
Happy to go deeper on any of this.
Well, this is RIDICULOUS. ๐
Hermes Agent now has a Scalekit plugin in its catalog.
Scalekit advertises 500+ app connectors and 20,000+ tools.
Authorize a service, then have Hermes use it.
Happy freakinโ SUNDAY! ๐ฅ
what is it with engineering leaders and last minute cancellations?
why do you not want free food and good company? what is it going to take to get you out of your houses??? ๐ญ
genuinely curious, what makes you say yes to a dinner invite and actually show up?
