Jesus gave a serious warning in Mark 3:29 about speaking against the Holy Spirit. When we study this deeper, blasphemy means to slander, to falsely accuse, or to attack someone’s character.

In context, this was not about a believer struggling, failing, or making mistakes. This was about willfully rejecting and slandering the work of the Holy Spirit, even while seeing the truth in front of you.

John 16:13 says the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. His role is to lead us, convict us, and reveal Jesus to us.

If you are concerned about honoring God, sensitive to conviction, and desire forgiveness, that is evidence the Holy Spirit is still working in your heart.

God is not looking for reasons to reject you. He is drawing people toward truth, repentance, and life through His Spirit.
