Been doing a 2pm-10pm fasting window every day for a while now. I've been eating way less, but only moderately better.
At the rate I'm losing weight at, I'll be at 220 this time next year, with a 20.0 BMI. This is only a tweet so I can document the exact day.
@RyanHeapski@TheoryFighter Originally, Trip Guarding was to describe the ability to guard against low attacks despite recovering from a jumping attack.
SF4 added 2 frames of recovery to jumping attacks effectively deleting trip guarding forever. People still used that phrase to describe the scenario.
Whoever is responsible for the design philosophy of SF6 seriously resents the fact that fighting games are 2 player games. Most of what is 'good' in SF6 is just attacks with absolutely no counter play
@MashersYt46670 Yeah it was Jordan levels of omission because that's how obvious it was. Some things should not be done lazily, and rating players should be done with careful consideration.
No one needs to be told that Daigo had an E.Ryu. Make a list for a good reason
We have to run background checks on people making lists in the FGC. Looking at C.Viper and not being able to think of Wolfkrone or Latif is an extremely egregious snubb π
For those trying out SF4 for the first time, here's a small list of notable players to watch to learn the characters!
Not all are listed so feel free to add more in the replies cuz I know we had a lot of killers that were not as popular!
@MashersYt46670 Absolutely trashing the guy and it's well deserved. If you make a greatest Chicago Bulls of all time list and you can't think of Jordan or Pippen, you just aren't informed enough to give much of an opinion .
Kyokuji's original list was much more informed and less insulting.
Every SF6 tweet is "Well actually the game has a lot of depth and there isn't one answer to everything so you must meticulously pick your options for victory"
And then every SF6 video is "Look how many times I threw that guy"
Game is only fun theoretically
@YamchaFGC@sanrdo_rasmo@concienciabateu You are supposed to be creating the certainty instead of just pressing buttons and hoping for desirable results. You don't have a strong understanding of fighting games.
SF6 is so deeply frustrating to play for all the wrong reasons. I've been playing fighting games basically all my life and never have I ever have gotten accidental forward jump twice a round like I do in SF6. This is ridiculous
Playing SF6 after playing Street Fighter for 16 years feels like I've been learning how to play racing games through Project Cars for 16 years and now I'm being forced to play Mario Kart
The one thing that makes me mad about Alex's Prowler is that that move should have been Blanka's gimmick. Why would a wrestler do all that and not a green gorilla named Jimmy?
@Matty_OW@abisnailOW I don't think you quite understand what you are asking for yet. You sure you want to lose access to over 50% of the player base to a game you actually enjoy playing?
The real issue here is that we'll designed characters like Yasmine and Honda are seen as weak because SF6 creatively stifles players by design.
When random low forward from Ryu on hit and block can lead into 40% + oki, there isn't any incentive to explore your character.
i find it impossible to play yasmine without suffering from ryu derangement syndrome, "ryu would've killed there", "ryu would be plus there", "ryu doesnt need to take that risk", he lives in my head rent free
@Super__Yan I've been in Florida for 18 years and people here legit think it's good small talk to bitch about the heat constantly.
It's called the sunshine state for a reason. Take the tampon out and suffer like a man properly
Every throw loop video there's always an archetype of person that very obtusely asks why didn't other player do an option that beats it. These guys have a serious lack of understanding of basic risk reward assessment and these guys are who Capcom wants to cater to.
@TechneexFGC Because the move is charged, throwing a fireball again from that close up would be dangerous so he throws st.HP instead. All the fireballs after that were outside of bullhorns range. When Birdie entered the range, Tokido stopped throwing. You don't understand the interaction.
@TechneexFGC Birdie has a move called Bullhorn that goes through fireballs. He has to sacrifice one of his buttons to charge the move. Akuma's first fireball can't be punished because biride presumably did not have the move charged. The https://t.co/aAnHpRyGZT Mena does after charges the move
