Today we were honored to welcome @USTradeRep Jamieson Greer to our manufacturing campus in Perrysburg, Ohio, joined by Senator @berniemoreno and Representative @boblatta.

Ambassador Greer’s visit is recognition of what’s possible when trade policy puts American interests first. By the midpoint of President Trump’s term, First Solar will have brought $1.5 billion in new US manufacturing capacity online across Louisiana and South Carolina — creating 1,400 good‑paying American manufacturing jobs.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to show Ambassador Greer firsthand how First Solar is building American supply chains, creating American jobs, and helping American communities prosper. We’re proud to manufacture in America — and committed to its future.

Today, we celebrate America’s solar workers. The thousands of people that go to work each day in factories, R&D labs, mines, railyards, and warehouses, enable First Solar’s uniquely American solar technology. Thanks to their work, there isn’t a more American solar technology in the market than the panels produced by First Solar’s factories in the United States.
