🌱🇮🇳 "People used to call me a fool when I chose farming."
Most people would have ignored those words.
Prince Shukla decided to prove them wrong.

At just 24 years old, Prince made a decision that many around him couldn't understand. He left a secure job in Bengaluru and returned to his hometown in Purnia, Bihar, choosing farming over the comfort of a conventional career.

The reaction wasn't encouraging.

Many questioned his decision.

Some mocked it.

Others thought he was throwing away his future.

But Prince saw something they didn't.

Armed with a BSc in Agriculture and around ₹1 lakh borrowed from family members, he launched a startup called AGRATE with a simple mission: help farmers access better technology, better inputs, and better opportunities.

He started by supplying quality seeds, organic fertilizers, and efficient irrigation solutions.

But the real difference came from something else.

Knowledge.

Prince worked directly with small farmers, introducing modern agricultural practices, providing training, and helping them improve productivity and income.

The journey wasn't easy.

There were financial challenges.

Doubts.

Setbacks.

And countless moments when giving up would have been easier.

But he stayed committed to the belief that farming deserved innovation, dignity, and ambition.

Today, AGRATE reportedly generates around ₹2.5 crore in annual revenue.

More importantly, the farmers he works with are seeing better results, healthier crops, and greater confidence in their future.

The people who once questioned his choices now seek his guidance.

And the land he returned to is growing more than crops.

It's growing opportunity.

Prince Shukla's story is a reminder that success doesn't always lie in leaving your roots behind.

Sometimes, it comes from returning to them.
