@sainsburys @eric_donjon A general comment on this. The rocket you sell that comes from Italy is, in my experience, always sodden and pretty much unsalvageable . I’ve stopped buying it and have fed back in store twice. No issues with it when bought in season from the UK.

@paul_d_stevens @RoseNightingal1 @anon_opin Agreed totally. And @paul_d_stevens @RoseNightingal1 the 3 of us live in different parts of the country. Gives an idea of the problem nationwide. My Mum (81) has a 3 bed semi, wants to downsize. Nowhere for her to buy locally, despite 130 new homes built and 800 incoming.

@MartinSLewis Worth mentioning that because I’d had letters from the police and the parents absolving me of any blame, none of the other insurance companies I got quotes from went along with that ‘suspension’. I suspect things would be different now.

@MartinSLewis In the mid-80s a child ran in front of my car and her arm was broken. Police and parents agreed I wasn’t at fault. Did the right thing and told insurance co. At renewal they ‘suspended’ my NCB so despite no claim or even blame, quote went from £800 to £2.5k. I didn’t renew.
