I've been dabbling with creating maps for the first Sailor Moon game released on the Game Boy.
I've only done Stage 1 so far, but I'm pretty happy with it!
In-game the view is zoomed in so you barely see any of the road, and it was harder to stitch together than I expected.
I was about to question the use of straight lines on artwork for a succubus, but at least it drew my attention enough to the card art to notice the Culdcept Begins language is a simple alphabet cipher!
The backgrounds look great in Culdcept Begins. The characters and monsters… well, I’ll get used to them, but they feel more like flat pictures than actual characters.
