Emotional control is a powerful skill.
Don’t let emotions make your decisions.
Stay objective.
Learn from your mistakes.
Think before you react.
A calm mind often sees what an emotional mind misses.
Stop worrying about what the market will deliver.
Focus on what you can control:
• The amount: How much you invest.
• The frequency: How regularly you invest.
• The strategy: Whether your investment approach suits your goals.
• The time horizon: How long you can stay invested.
• Your behaviour: How you react when markets fall.
Returns are uncertain. Your investment decisions and behaviour are yours to manage.
SEBI proposes LTCG tax relief on mutual fund switches.
Under SEBI's pre-Budget recommendation, domestic mutual fund investors could get LTCG tax relief when switching existing holdings into another scheme, provided the units have been held for more than one year.
Currently, switching mutual fund schemes is generally treated as a redemption followed by a fresh investment, and capital gains tax may apply.
Note: This is only a proposal, not an approved change in tax rules.

🌱 | What I Learned
Life also has different seasons.
Some phases bring happiness and growth. Others teach us patience, strength and resilience.
Nothing stays the same forever. No phase lasts forever.
Not every ending is a failure, and not every difficult phase is permanent.
Accept change, learn from every experience and keep growing.
Every season of life has a lesson to teach us.
🍂 | A Small Moment, A Life Lesson
I was out walking when I paused for a moment and clicked this random photo of fallen leaves.
At first, it was just a picture. But looking at it made me think about how nature changes with every season.
Trees shed their leaves, look bare for a while, and then begin to grow again.
It reminded me that change is a natural part of life….1/2
How is NAV calculated in Mutual Funds?
NAV stands for Net Asset Value.
The formula:
NAV = (Total Assets − Total Liabilities) ÷ Total Outstanding Units
Let's understand with an example:
• Total assets: ₹100 crore
• Total liabilities: ₹5 crore
• Total outstanding units: 5 crore
Calculation:
NAV = (100 − 5) ÷ 5
NAV = ₹19 per unit
Remember: A lower NAV doesn't mean a mutual fund is cheaper or better than a fund with a higher NAV.
Understand NAV before investing.
