Before clicking “Fabricate On Chain”, check each item carefully
The circuit is complete and has passed the self check
The number of inputs and outputs is as expected
The target processor is correct
The NAND belongs to the target processor
The amount of NAND is enough for the current circuit
The project or Circuits contract address is correct
The wallet is connected to BNB Smart Chain with Chain ID 56
There is enough BNB in the wallet to pay for gas
You understand that the NAND will be permanently destroyed after fabrication
Carefully check the transaction details shown in your wallet
Make sure there are no unusual amounts, unknown transfers, or unexpected approval requests
If you are unsure about anything, do not sign the transaction
To truly fabricate a circuit on chain, you can follow these simple steps
Step 1 Design the circuit
Enter the official TapeOut canvas
You can drag in Input, Output, Constant, NAND, and LATCH and connect them to build your circuit
You can also import a prepared BLIF file
Step 2 Test it in the browser
Once your circuit is ready, run a self check
Make sure the BLIF imports correctly, the inputs and outputs work as expected, and the page shows that the self check has passed and the circuit is ready for fabrication
Once everything looks good, move on to fabrication
Step 3 Prepare the right NAND
Choose the processor you want to fabricate to
NAND issued by one processor can only be used for that processor
Do not use NAND from another project
Step 4 Connect your wallet
Connect your wallet and make sure you are using BNB Smart Chain with Chain ID 56
You will also need a small amount of BNB for gas
Step 5 Enter the target project
Enter the target processor project or Circuits contract address on the right side of the canvas
Double check the address before submitting
Step 6 Fabricate on chain
Once the circuit, target project, NAND amount, and wallet are all correct, click “Fabricate On Chain”
After the transaction is completed, the corresponding NAND will be permanently consumed and a new Circuit NFT will be created
Step 7 Check the result
After fabrication is complete, you can check the result in My Holdings or on the processor details page
You can find the Circuit ID, Circuit NFT, creator wallet, processor, circuit netlist, and fabrication transaction hash there
Once you have the Circuit ID and a successful on chain transaction, the fabrication is complete
How do you confirm that tapeout was successful?
TapeOut does two things
It consumes and permanently burns the corresponding NAND or LATCH
It writes the circuit netlist on chain and creates a Circuit NFT
After the transaction is complete, confirm the Circuit ID, Circuit NFT, amount consumed, and tapeout transaction hash in My Holdings or the project details
Once you see the Circuit ID and a successful transaction, the TapeOut is truly complete
After returning to the Canvas, connect your BNB Smart Chain wallet and enter the Circuits contract address for the target project
Before clicking Tape Out, check the following
The project and contract address are correct
The NAND quantity and type are correct
Your wallet has enough gas remaining
There are no unfamiliar approvals or unusual transfers
Only sign after confirming everything
Why does placing an order not mean it has been completed?
Submitting a buy order only means that you are waiting for a seller
You can continue with tapeout only after you actually hold the transistors
The integration of TapOut into OKX Wallet is a milestone victory for us
TapOut will keep building and bring more features and experiences to everyone We also welcome more and more builders to join us and pursue broader development across the TapOut ecosystem
Together, let’s help TapOut grow stronger at just one month and five days old TapOut looks forward to growing with everyone
How do you buy NAND?
Go to TapeOut’s transistor market and find the relevant project
Before placing an order, confirm two things: you are buying the correct project’s NAND, not LATCH, and the balance appears in your wallet or My Holdings after the order is completed
Before formal TapeOut, you need to select the target processor project
NAND issued by a specific project can only be used for tapeout within that project
NAND from the TapeOut project cannot be used for other projects
Likewise, NAND from other projects cannot be used for tapeout on TapeOut
After importing a BLIF file, first confirm that the preview is correct, then click Import to Canvas
Next, you must complete a self check
The file imports successfully
The Canvas shows that it is ready for tapeout
The inputs and outputs match expectations
Being able to import the file does not necessarily mean the logic is correct. Check it first, then put it on chain
How do you create a circuit on the TapeOut Canvas?
There are two ways
Drag and drop Input, Output, and NAND blocks, then connect them to build the logic
Import a locally designed .blif file
Simple circuits are suitable for drawing directly on the Canvas
For complex circuits, it is better to design and test them locally first, then import them into the Canvas
What does an application need to go from idea to launch?
Clear problem definition
A working demo
Reading and verifying on chain data
Deployment and continuous iteration
TapeOut aims to make this path more direct
Going forward, we will continue sharing Builder applications, tutorials, and practical experiences
TapeOut is becoming an application driven technology ecosystem
Here, we do not just discuss concepts We focus on applications that are being built, deployed, and used
Starting with the first demo, we turn ideas into products that can be verified and run
