The name America was given to the New World since 1507 and never changed for countries with romance languages

The name America appeared in world maps since 1507 and when the Mayflower arrived in what today is the US, the continent was already known as America.

The 7 continents model was adopted in the 1960's. By doing that "America" became a country in the northamerican continent

Latinos eran los habitantes del Lazio q crearon el imperio romano. Hablamos castellano, una de las varias lenguas españolas.
