When Congress lost in 2014, it decided to wait for five years. Rahul Gandhi went off to recover from all his travelling, and the party kept itself busy in the states where it still had governments.
They figured Modi ji wouldn't be able to deliver on his promises, so they'd wait until a year before the election, start asking him questions, and he'd lose.

But it went the other way. Modi ji kept his promises and came back in 2019 with more seats.
Something else happened too. The BJP slowly started winning state after state, and Congress, now losing, began to look worried.
So by 2024 they cooked up issues: Rafale, Pegasus, "chowkidar chor hai."

They started demanding proof from the army after terror attacks. And when the election came, they blew the reservation bugle, which was a lie. "They'll change the Constitution, there'll be no more elections."
All these half-truths and lies together did have an effect. The BJP lost a few seats, but Modi ji still formed the government again.

Now it's 2029, and for Congress and Rahul Gandhi it's do or die.

But now it's "vote chori," SIR, EVMs, anarchy, leftists, "cockroaches"... This is all they have left. They can't win at the ballot box, so they'll try to get people onto the streets, spread chaos, and topple the government.

As for foreigners, what can I say? They haven't understood India either. This is a country of 150 crore people. Within the Constitution you can change almost anything, but by force you can't change even a single brick in a drain.
What I keep wondering is this: after all this, if Congress and Rahul Gandhi lose again in 2029, which they're going to, and Modi ji becomes PM once more, what will they do after 2029?

They've already tried everything!
Will they bang their heads against the walls? Will Congress just die out? Will a new party emerge? Will leaders break away from Congress to save their own futures and their own politics? Or will they all get together and remove the Gandhi family from the party?
I honestly can't figure it out: will Rahul Gandhi quit politics, or leave the country?
