woo seeing my family tomorrow, first time since lockdown has ended, got some family that lives a bit of a distance from us, so its hard getting everyone together
Always great when I generate some sales for a small business, as a small influencer, I can't guarantee sales, but it makes my day when I get really great feedback from the brand I'm working with.
because I'm going through the community dentist, it's going to take until January to get it fixed, but at least the balls rolling and I'm not scared that they're gonna have to rip out a tooth
actually had a surprisingly positive experience at the dentist today, they can fix my tooth, I've got 4 appointments booked. He explained everything he was doing and the process for fixing what needs to be fixed. So I've booked him for each appointment
whats a food memory you have?I remember growing up, probably about 12 years,I lived with my nan, she'd always cook salmon patties,I loved them I'd sneak down to the kitchen, pretending I had to go pee,I bet she always knew it was me stealing one, she never said anything.
I'm awake at 4.40am because I broke my tooth on Friday, starting to get decent amount of pain and can't get seen a dentist till Wednesday. When I say I broke my tooth, I had a veneer, half come off, plus took off half my actual tooth. So okie.
I honestly don't get the whole keyboard warrior mentality, it means the world to others for a little niceness, and on tiktok especially, as a viewer, I don't create content there, I've had unneeded hate just on comments that were positive to the video?
so being active on many apps, its interesting to me how the audience reacts to things, TikTok seems to be the most harsh I think where it comes to comments, instagram I've found way less harsh, but tiktoks, even commenting on videos can be brutal
love trying to get an urgent dentist appointment because I've broken a tooth badly, and can't be seen until Wednesday. I have a drs appointment Monday, lets hope I can survive the weekend with the pain and the dr gives me pain meds on Monday
I knew starting your own business would be hard... but even the common things like chasing up payments... is the most frustrating thing! if your the one expected to pay and didn't, you'd not get the service, why is it on me to be lenient? but getting it done!
go grocery shopping they say, brought a whole chicken to cook up. I've never cooked a whole chicken before! lol but I'm excited. A positive out of all the lockdowns, I've grown an appreciation for cooking, I used to hate cooking
learning when I need breaks, having to pace things, and what I can do, still thinking I can do it all and then falling in a heap because I can't. But I'm getting there, I'm just me, trying to work it all out.
Chronic illness is frustrating, knowing your limits, when to step back, always having to juggle how I'm feeling, medication, and just the sheer exhaustion of it all. And then trying to juggle life around it as well.
@Sophie_at_AMC if a relationship feels like work on your end, something isn't right. If your the one making all the effort then something needs to change with that, that's what I've learned with any type of relationship love/friendship etc
