@TheTokenCracker @yogioabs Okay explain your thinking. I’m a Christian. Christ is the only one who purifies us. That’s the whole gospel and the crux of what we believe. So how do you get that it’s the mans job? Where in the bible does it say that any person can purify someone? It doesn’t. It’s blasphemy

@yogioabs That’s blasphemy btw. As a Christian you should believe that onto Christ purifies. That’s the gospel. You are making men into idols. No person can make someone else clean. It is Christ’s job alone.

If we look at history on a grand scale, women have been in some kind of shape wear for probably .01% of it. Our bodies don’t need it, and it’s healthier to live without it

@BritMartinez @ericakjimenez There are many other factors that lead to women feeling more insecure about themselves- social media, facetune/photoshop, “fitness” fads and diet fads that “guarantee” impossible results (leading women to become hopeless when results don’t happen and give up), etc.

@yogioabs Gospel= we needed a saviour, Christ died for us, and we are now saved through the cross. We are saved through Christ. No one is saved through Christianity. And those word changes mean so so so much.

@yogioabs Every good Christian is made by the Holy Trinity, not the institution of Christianity. We look to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to be purified. We are not made good by a religion.

@yogioabs Jesus comes around and reminds us to focus on ourselves before casting the first stone to others. Jesus reminds us to show compassion and love to all. Women and men. All of us are equal and deserving of love and compassion. ALL of us. Not just those who you deem “worthy”

@yogioabs as a Christian, your number one mission is to spread the gospel and to love everyone with an unconditional, non judgemental love (agape in the Greek). Not to “teach women to behave”, or to strengthen the patriarchy.

@yogioabs Luke 10:38- 41 - Jesus wants Mary and Martha to sit and listen to his teachings, along with the male disciples in the house, instead of doing housework. Jesus VALUED women as more than slaves and homemakers.
