Eskom recovery teams are working tirelessly under challenging weather conditions to systematically repair damaged infrastructure and restore electricity to affected towns across the Western Cape.

Despite the ongoing impact of heavy rainfall, strong winds, and flooding in some areas, Eskom’s technical teams remain fully mobilised and committed to restoring power safely and as efficiently as possible.

The widespread nature of the storm across the province continues to impact multiple areas simultaneously, and Eskom is deploying all available resources to ensure the fastest possible restoration of supply.

Customers are reminded that these conditions continue to present significant challenges, particularly in areas where infrastructure remains inaccessible due to flooding and unsafe terrain.

Eskom is working closely with Provincial Disaster Management to assess the full extent of damage to the network and to evaluate access routes that currently limit safe repair work.

Eskom thanks customers for their patience and understanding as response teams navigate these difficult conditions to address multiple faults and restore electricity supply.
