Safdarjung Hospitals report says @Wangchuk66’s potassium level is 2.9 whereas just yesterday it was 4.3. They are not allowing me to either get a second opinion by taking him to another lab not are they giving me his blood sample in my presence which i can get tested elsewhere. I have been waiting since 3 hours but they haven’t obliged us yet. This lack of transparency is making us suspicious and we have asked to be discharged immediately so that we can go to a hospital that we are comfortable with. We are awaiting their response for the last 2 hours

#Ladakh: Following the call for widespread peaceful protest on 16 March 2026 by Leh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance, thousands of protesters took to the streets, voicing their support for the demand of Statehood, Sixth Schedule, separate parliamentary seats, public services commission and the release of remaining prisoners.
High time for the government to pay heed to and fulfil the long pending genuine demands, including their election manifesto promises.

Noteworthy is that the high handed approach and measures on part of the government has neither deterred the people nor hindered the movement instead derailed the negotiations. The detention of #SonamWangchuk under NSA over baseless grounds served no good but has put the govt. on back foot, forcing them to reconsider their drastic miscalculation and finally revoking it.

Further delays would alienate the locals and increase the frustration, all leading to widening the distance between New Delhi and Ladakh. #SaveLadakh
