A reminder that Elsevier made $10.5 BILLION in 2022 from selling your academic journals and articles behind paywalls, and make more profit than Amazon, Google, and Apple every year…

And paid the academics who wrote the articles $0
And paid the reviewers of the articles $0

Junior Doctors have had a 26% pay cut over the last 15 years.

They're on strike to get their pay restored - lifting it for a doctor on £14 an hour to £19 an hour.

It's ludicrous to claim one of the world's richest countries can't afford that.

Solidarity to the Junior Doctors!

I love it when pts love their GPs.

“My GP is Dr Ahmed. Do you know him? Ooh, he’s wonderful, he’s looked after me for years. He made me come in. I didn’t want to come! But he said ‘Doris, you MUST go to A&E with that chest of yours’. He’s lovely. You must know him? Dr Ahmed?”

Re-posting a better version of this because the debate is worthwhile.
