Exciting day last week at Merton College as the Employability Team hosted a visit from the
@RoyalAutomobile Club Epsom. Level 2 Professional Cookery students were treated to a professional cookery masterclass by Howard Bisset Head Chef #RoyalAutomobileClub #MertonCollege

The @royalautomobile even provided ingredients for students to practice at home! RAC was so impressed that they invited our students to their Epsom venue. They also have part-time roles available for the students. #royalautomobileclub #mertoncollege

Our Hospitality & Catering Annual Awards 2020-21 saw 37 students nominated across 13 categories. Here's Charlotte Carpenter, L3 Professional Cookery category winner, with certificate presented by course tutor Bernie Byrne. Well done to all nominees for their hard work this year.

Charlotte Carpenter, Level 3 Professional Cookery student, got the chance to run the kitchen when Taste Restaurant welcomed guests. She created her own menu and managed the kitchen. Charlotte said: "All new experiences are valuable and it's been great to manage the kitchen."
