My friend Hayes is at the Sox game today, which has become another Tartan Army Takeover. He shares that he befriended a group of Scots; who became delirious with joy when they learned that a baseball game can’t end in a tie.
The small things are truly the biggest things.
Only sport in the world where people put stock in hypothetical results. If you're so much better, prove it on the field, if you choose not to that then sit on the couch and watch Tulane play in your place
Tulane has an SEC head coach, a QB who went 11-2 in the Big 12 last year, beat the ACC champion, and beat a 6-6 big 10 team 23-3 and people are on here saying with a straight face that its a "safety issue" for them to play against the power 4
If beating Tulane is such a forgone conclusion then why didnt they put us on the schedule like Ole Miss did. A win over the AAC champ probably would've gotten them in. It's because they knew they might lose, so they choose to play the Citadel and Montana State where its safe.
This is the shit that makes me feel like I’m losing my mind
The G5 has four NY6 bowl wins in the last decade. We’ve all seen it happen
Saying the G5 will never win a CFP game is the textbook definition of gaslighting
Notre Dames only significant win this season is beating USC, which btw Tulane did the only chance they got in a NY6 bowl when USC had the #1 overall pick playing QB
P4: "G5 teams would have NO chance against P4 in the playoffs."
G5: "Then play us during the regular season."
P4: "No - because there IS a chance you could beat us, and that would hurt our playoff chances."
