A Republican county attorney just accused Stephen Miller's legal organization of attempting an "unprecedented power grab" over election administration.
Not a Democrat.
A Republican.
This story should be front-page news.

Six weeks ago I told you they were coming for Big Bend. Yesterday a court cleared the way for border wall construction in the Big Bend National Park region.
Here's what makes this so enraging:
Big Bend National Park is one of the quietest stretches of the entire southern border. In FY2025, the Big Bend sector recorded just 3,096 apprehensions — 1.3% of all crossings nationwide. Border encounters there have dropped 74% since 2023. The land is remote, rugged, and brutal. It has always been its own deterrent.
And yet — a 30-foot steel wall is coming anyway.
What that wall will actually do: fragment critical habitat for black bears, mountain lions, and the endangered black-capped vireo. Sever one of the last wildlife corridors connecting the U.S. and Mexican Chihuahuan Desert — an ecosystem that doesn't recognize borders.
Block the natural movement of over 450 bird species that pass through Big Bend. Flood one of the darkest night skies in North America with construction lights. Slice through 100+ miles of the Wild and Scenic Rio Grande.
To stop 1.3% of border crossings. On land that was already stopping them on its own.
The administration has now waived the Endangered Species Act, the National Park Service Organic Act, and the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act — all at once — to make this happen. The first time in U.S. history any of that has been done inside a national park.
They awarded $4.3 billion in contracts. Steel bollards are already on the ground near Van Horn. Construction starts this summer.
Who do YOU think this wall is actually for?

🚨BREAKING: Epstein file says Trump knew about underage sex parties occurring at his golf course and that revenue from the club was used to fund them.
Trump has known for days this was about to be published in his home state of Florida.

@stargazing90@Sylvia_and_Bill I remember how the media reacted when Al Gore said he would put social security in a lockbox. The media slammed him, late night hosts made jokes about it for weeks. Our complicit corporate media has helped screw us over for decades.
why the F do they need any money when they got a fortune in the "big beautiful bill" who is pocketing all that cashnone is going to properly care for detainees
Under the proposed merger, nearly 50% of Paramount-Warner Brothers would be foreign-owned, including by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi.
This deal could pose a national security threat.
Scientists at Trump’s EPA say they are being told to make chemical risks “disappear on paper.” Not to study or manage them, but to make them vanish.
When a safety test on a household chemical shows danger, supervisors reportedly ask to keep shrinking the scenario until the poison looks safe.
They have reassigned senior scientists to paperwork and handed life-and-death risk assessments to staff with less experience. They have installed former chemical industry lobbyists to run the very offices that are supposed to regulate the chemical industry.
A gift to industry, paid for with your family’s health.
They are even throwing out research on how certain chemicals hit certain communities harder, calling decades of established science “DEI.”
You can make risk disappear on paper.
The cancer does not disappear.
The birth defects do not disappear.
The infertility does not disappear.
The kids drinking the water and getting sick do not disappear.
The EPA exists to protect people, not to protect the profit margins of the people poisoning them.
Every American deserves to know what is happening. #TrumpMakesUsSick

@mmpadellan he is a lying piece of shit they already massively cut Medicaid and SNAP and Medicare and SS are not part of the budget it is its own trust he can fuck all the way off Congress left IOUs to that trust and stole the money and never paid it back
Good morning and Happy Wednesday to everyone who agrees that the audio of Speaker Johnson ADMITTING that he's planning on cutting Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security SHOULD BE A HUGE STORY.
Don't let him slide on this.
Yesterday, the Department of the Interior bragged "I know a spot" and posted an Utah overlook so alien it looks like another planet.
What they didn't post: tomorrow, the rule that said this land's health matters officially dies.
The spot is Moonscape Overlook — gray bentonite badlands carved by wind and water over millions of years. No facilities. No crowds. Just silence and a view that doesn't look like this planet.
People drive an hour down a dirt road just to stand on the rim and stare.
It's Bureau of Land Management land. Public land. Your land.
In 2024, the Public Lands Rule said something radical only in its simplicity: before leasing, drilling, or mining 245 million acres of America's public lands, conservation had to be weighed as an equal. 92% of public commenters supported it.
This spring, the administration rescinded it. 138,161 people wrote in. The rule was erased anyway — effective June 11, 2026.
So while Interior collects likes on that photo — replies full of "thank you for protecting our beautiful lands" — the same department has quietly erased the protection.
What dies with the rule? Protection for the drinking water one in ten westerners gets from these lands. Protection for the endangered wildlife that depends on them. And accountability when corporations leave the land scarred and walk away.
Utah's vulnerable public lands are already being leased. In March, 68,632 acres were signed away in a single day.
Tens of thousands more go up for auction this month — every 2026 lease sale is in the infographic sourced below. ⬇️ and while you’re there, check out the US Department of Interior’s own post just today — you don’t want to miss it.
92% of us said keep the rule. They threw it out anyway.
Who exactly are our public lands being managed for?

This Administration has removed the achievements of the Air Force’s first female Thunderbird pilot Retired Colonel Nicole Malachowski. The removal of these articles have sparked criticism because her place in Air Force history is not a Political slogan it’s well documented.
After ignoring repeated warnings a DHS Border Wall Contractor just bulldozed a 1000 year intaglio (giant figure carved into the ground) that was an archeological wonder and one of the oldest surviving in the SW
NO MORE MAIL: The U.S. Postal Service won't deliver absentee ballots for states that don't hand over voter registration lists, in violation of their core purpose TO DELIVER THE MAIL.
That dilemma stems from newly proposed USPS rules that seek to comply with an executive order President Donald Trump signed this spring to crack down on mail-in voting. If courts let the order stand, it would give the federal government an unprecedented role in elections. It would put even more voter data in the hands of Trump officials searching for already-proved-to-be-virtually-nonexistent supposed election fraud.
The proposed rules lay out new conditions that states would have to meet to send ballots by mail, including providing the agency with lists of all voters set to receive mail ballots. Nearly all mail is scanned and routed digitally...it's not much of a leap to scenarios where the system could be manipulated to "lose" ballots sent to citizens of the "wrong party," or for the USPS's database to be hacked.
Not everyone can just "pick up" an absentee ballot in advance, either. Maybe you're out of the country. Maybe you're in the hospital. Maybe you're just elderly and no longer drive.
This entire effort to "eliminate fraud" that doesn't exist in any meaningful way is a direct attack on every American citizen's ability to vote. We can't let this happen.
