Labour just voted themselves the right to reach into £2 TRILLION of private pension savings and direct where it goes – not you, not your fund manager, not your trustees.
They call it a “reserve power”, but once a power exists in statute, it exists for real – and it will always be used when a desperate Chancellor needs a quick hit of cash or a headline‑grabbing “investment revolution”.
This is not some minor technical tweak, it is the state inserting itself between you and your life savings, turning your pension into a political slush fund for risky vanity projects that no sane investor would touch voluntarily.
Hands. Off. Our. Pensions.
I thought this was fear mongering until I did some research. This is a #Wef wet dream. Pool the public pension funds into a central government controlled investment scheme, lose the lot. #youwillownnothingandbehappy

Downing Street says neither the PM or the then foreign secretary David Lammy knew that Peter Mandelson failed security vetting to be US ambassador till a few days ago. Sources say they are incandescent that they were not told. The clear implication is that the permanent under secretary at the foreign office Olly Robbins over-ruled the vetting recommendation and never told ministers. If that is right, and no official is denying that, it is impossible to see how he keeps his job
We already have a wealth tax, it's called 50% tax band and inheritance tax. What happened to hard work and sacrifice to reach goals as opposed to an easy hand out. Socialism only results in communism.
🚨 Zack Polanski Warns: "I'm Coming for Your Money" If I Become Prime Minister! 🚩
Green Party leader openly admits his top priorities:
First: Overhaul the voting system — scrap first-past-the-post so his radical Greens can hoover up way more seats and lock in their control.
Second: Introduce a wealth tax — reach straight into people's pockets and seize even more of their hard-earned money.
That's it. Not the collapsing economy. Not energy production or prices. Not borders, crime, or any real crisis destroying Britain.
Just rig the rules to help himself and his crew win bigger... then help himself to even more of other people's wealth.
How very convenient for a man with big ambitions.
This is deeply revealing about Polanski's true priorities. Behind the mild-mannered, "community power" eco-activist mask is a classic power-hungry radical: first change the game so you can dominate it, then tax everyone else to fund the fantasy.
No thanks. Zack Polanski isn't interested in fixing Britain, he's interested in remaking it to suit his socialist dreams, one self-serving power grab and wealth grab at a time.
Dangerous priorities from a dangerous dreamer.
Power grab + wealth grab. Classic.
Nothing like misrepresenting the truth. @RishiSunak said households would, on average, be £2000 worse off, the figure cited in the video is specifically about pensioners. The only people better off under Labour are on benefits or enjoying the lift of the 2 child cap.
Haha let’s all laugh at @RishiSunak
You couldn’t have been more wrong about this if you tired.
You told us our tax would rise by £2,000.
You were wrong.
You were like 100% off target with this one.
Reports today suggest @RachelReevesMP policy have led to a raise of £4,000 per household;

🚨🇬🇧 Here it is UK justice system, they let them go 👇🏼
Two Pakistani brothers used a high level of violence as they brutally attacked armed police officers in Manchester Airport brawl, court hears yesterday.
Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 21, and his elder brother Muhammad Amaad, 26, rained 'repeated blows' on PC Zachary Marsden as he tried to arrest Amaaz in the parking payment area at Terminal Two in Manchester airport.
Amaaz also acted 'in a COWARDLY manner' when he struck unarmed female officer PC Lydia Ward by punching her in the face, breaking her nose and also hit PC Ellie Cook, an armed officer with 'a flurry of blows'.
The defendants say the violence they used against PC Marsden was lawful because they were acting in self-defence or in defence of each other.
And where precisely have the occupants been moved to? Also it would be nice to know how you've successfully vetted individuals who destroy their ID before arrival. More disengenuous boasts from labour.
You won't hear a peep about this from Farage, Tice or Jenrick.
Under the Tories, up to 400 hotels were being used to house asylum seekers.
With Labour, there are now just 185, with 11 more hotels re-opening to the public, saving the taxpayer £65 million a year.
These growth figures show the Government has the right plan to build a stronger more resilient economy.
But the war in Iran will come at a cost.
That is why we are taking the right, fair and necessary action to protect families and businesses.
The ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz is deeply damaging. Getting global shipping moving is vital to ease cost of living pressures.
The UK has convened more than 40 nations who share our aim to restore freedom of navigation.
This week the UK and France will co-host a summit to advance work on a coordinated, independent, multinational plan to safeguard international shipping when the conflict ends.
He needs wingers with pace and end product, Salah has been useless all season and gakpo would prefer to cut back and shoot. Ekitike and Wirtz are carrying attack most games.
Minimum wage rising 📈
State pension increasing 💷
Two child limit abolished 🏡
Child poverty falling 📉
Rights at work strengthened 💪🏻
Labour promised change. We are delivering change.

@SharePickers That sounds pretty cool. The obvious questions are; what was the initial set up cost, what size is the equipment and where is it installed, and what maintenance costs are you expecting?
Workless households will be handed a £6,000 annual benefits boost when Labour lifts the two-child cap on Monday
They get an extra 6k without having to get out of bed - yet this week we have been debating whether pensioners who have worked 35 years should get 12k per year
People may dislike PM Starmer and the Labour Party but they are actually doing what other politicians only talk about, stopping the boats and reducing illegal immigration. No wonder Farage is no longer talking about it.
Labour MP Joani Reid had absolutely no idea her husband was a Chinese Spy at the same time she was developing ‘flirtatious’ relationships with two Nuclear submarine Captains.
What are the chances of that 🤷🏻♂️
