Anthesis is not the finish line. It is the beginning of grain fill.
At flowering, the crop begins shifting resources toward developing kernels. Cytokinins, including kinetin, are involved in early seed development, sink activity and the regulation of leaf senescence. Maintaining cytokinin activity during this transition may help preserve photosynthetic capacity while developing grain begins competing for assimilates.
Nutrition must support both sides of the grain fill equation: the leaves producing carbohydrates and the kernels receiving them.
Nitrogen is required for chlorophyll, photosynthetic proteins and grain protein formation. Adequate nitrogen supply can support yield and protein, but more is not always better. Excess nitrogen can disrupt grain filling under some conditions, so balance and timing matter.
Sulfur is essential for sulfur containing amino acids and protein synthesis. It also works closely with nitrogen metabolism, and sulfur deficiency can limit how efficiently the crop uses available nitrogen.
Potassium supports enzyme activity, water regulation, stomatal function and the movement of photosynthates toward developing grain. These functions become especially important when the crop is filling under heat, moisture or disease stress.
Active GrainFILL brings kinetin together with nitrogen, sulfur and potassium at fungicide timing to nutritionally support the crop as it moves from flowering into grain development.
The goal is not to create yield that was never established. It is to help the crop finish the yield it has already built.

CG P2X just got stronger delivering more nutrition in every granule. The new 9-42-0 with 9 Mg formula delivers nearly 30% more nitrogen and phosphorus, while still putting more than 2X the plant-available nutrients to work for your crop.
What that means in the field:
- 60 to 65% lower application rates than MAP, DAP, and TSP
- More available nutrients at equal cost per acre
- Less handling, storage and freight
- Higher ROI on every phosphorus dollar
The new higher-analysis CG P2X is available now, just in time for your June bin fill! Read more here: https://t.co/Xc4QB2mWiz

Healthy plants are built, not born.
Bigger roots. Bigger plants. Bigger potential.
The Active BUILD treated canola on the right shows what happens when balanced nutrition fuels plant growth from the ground up. More roots, more biomass, and a stronger foundation to handle stress and maximize yield potential.
Healthy plants handle stress better.
Every stress event, whether it’s heat, drought, herbicide applications, or environmental extremes, triggers the production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) inside the plant. When ROS levels become too high, they damage cell membranes, chlorophyll, and the plant’s ability to efficiently produce energy.
The plant’s natural defense system relies on enzymes like Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) to neutralize these harmful compounds before they cause lasting damage.
When nutrition is limited, the plant spends more time fighting stress and less time building yield.
In this growers field comparison, wheat treated with Active BUILD maintained better plant health, fuller heads, and reduced floret abortion compared to a leading competitor.
Supporting plant nutrition during reproductive growth helps the crop manage oxidative stress, maintain photosynthetic activity, and direct more energy toward grain production.
Healthier plants.
Better stress tolerance.
Greater yield potential.

Hot. Dry. Windy. Southern Alberta has thrown a lot at this crop already this spring.
But AGTIV THRIVE is putting in the work below ground. 🌱
Excellent nodulation. Strong hyphae formation. A root system built to keep searching when moisture is limited and stress is high.
Because in years like this, biology is not just a bonus. It is a tool for resilience. 💪

Three days after seeding and the difference is already visible. 🌱
Cold soils. Tight emergence windows. Early season stress.
That’s where seedling nutrition matters most.
Active Prime is designed to support stronger emergence, improved early vigor, and a crop that gets up and going fast when conditions aren’t perfect.
Because high yielding canola starts below the surface.

Cold soils don’t stop the seed.
They slow everything around it.
Early on, the plant is running on reserves while nutrient availability and root growth lag behind. Phosphorus, zinc, and manganese are all less available in cold conditions, right when the plant needs them most.
Active Prime places nutrition directly on the seed.
Phosphate (15%), zinc (0.9%), manganese (0.8%), and supporting micros are right there at germination, supported by chelation and organic acids to keep them available.
No waiting on soil chemistry.
No early-season gap.

Cold soils change the math.
Not because nutrients disappear.
Because access disappears.
You can have fertility in the soil… and still have a hungry crop.
In a cold spring, everything slows.
Roots. Movement. Release.
So nutrients show up late.
And early season is where yield is set.
That is the shift.
This is not a rate problem.
It is an access and timing problem.
More fertilizer does not fix that.
Availability does.
The fertility that works this spring
will be the fertility the plant can reach early
and hold onto long enough to use.
Everything else is just potential.
Cold soils do not lower the stakes.
They expose what is actually working , they expose inefficiency. How efficient is your fertility plan for 2026?
Worried about fertilizer prices this spring? Traditional phosphate fertilizers like MAP, DAP, and MESZ are expensive...especially when you realize they’re only ~20% efficient!
Switch to CG P2X (9-42-0 + 9% Mg): 95%+ efficiency, apply 35% less, at the same price per acre. Now that's an ROI we can get behind! #CGP2X #P2X #Ostara #phosphateperfected #healthiersoils #highyield
Ask your local retail about CG P2X- years of trial data available showing it wins over MAP agronomically AND economically.
Check it out, with prices this year you, can’t afford not to!
This #PWeek we’re shining the light on the most efficient phosphate fertilizer on the market: CG P2X.
Unlike traditional ammonium phosphates that tie-up, leach, or wash away (often delivering only 20-30% plant-available P), CG P2X delivers 2X more plant-available phosphorus with over 95% efficiency. If you're ready to make every pound of P count, DM us! Or ask your retailer how you can get some of this P magic in your fields this year. #Ostara #phosphateperfected #CGP2X #healthiersoils #highyield #P2X
