Colleen Nichole Lemmon

She was covered in blood, had a gun, and admitted to murdering her 15 yo and 21 yo sons.

Then she purportedly tried to kill herself by cutting her wrists, only failed at that.

You see, mothers who kill their kids are very successful at murder, but struggle with successfully taking their own lives (because they really don't want to).

This is Texas, not Massachusetts.
