I teach teens, write wildly & fret daily

Here’s to a softer, gentler 2021!

[Amy Klobuchar @amyklobuchar]

You know you’ve done well as a parent when your kids are as proud of you as Gus and Hope are of Tim Walz. “That’s my dad.” No three words better describe our next Vice President.

[Barack Obama @BarackObama]

Like Vice President Harris, Governor @Tim_Walz believes that government works to serve us. Not just some of us, but all of us. That’s what makes him an outstanding governor, and that’s what will make him an even better vice president. Michelle and I couldn’t be happier for Tim and Gwen, their family, and our country.

Your chances of being murder by Mina are low, but not 0

This is Ramses. We will be going to modeling school soon.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

@hardhouz13 Somewhere desolate, filled with broken promises.

(Did you ever post where this was?)

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

@ohhhmygiddyaunt Feel better soon! :)

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

@ohhhmygiddyaunt Mice?

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

@hardhouz13 Hello back.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

@ohhhmygiddyaunt Looking great! :)

Sadie, pondering spring with potted plant.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

Same here...sometimes my perusal of phone books produces my protagonist’s name.

[CG Drews @PaperFury]

I respect authors who have thoughtful reasons behind why they chose to write certain things. Because I'm here like "my character is short because i am...they're tired in this scene because same...this chapter exists as a joke from me to me...i got their name off a street sign."

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

I feel like @21CNeanderthal could use this for inspiration today. :)

[Gurdeep Pandher of the Yukon @GurdeepPandher]

I am sending joy, hope, and positivity from the little hill close to the frozen Yukon River.

The Sunday at the end of vacation is always bittersweet. I want to be lazy but there’s work to do. Sadly, the essays still don’t grade themselves.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

@21CNeanderthal Yes, a few times.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

I needed a book in non-electronic format. Scoured the shelves for something I hadn’t read yet. Picked up Hemingway’s Islands in the Stream. I’m on page 75 and not yet compelled. Giving it up to 100. Sorry, Papa, I think we live in different universes.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

Or maybe it’s #Caturday. Spelling is not my forte. I know that’s ironic.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

Ol’ One Eye Simon and Sir Soufflé! #caterday afternoon.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

I’m flush out of fresh cat photos, so here’s one for #Caturday. I love this badass sweetness.

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

@ohhhmygiddyaunt here’s something for your Maine winters. :)

[Tawnya Kelley Tiskus @TawnWriteAlways]

My family outside of Houston has electricity but their pipes froze. Yesterday it was warmer here than there. This is climate change.
