If the government is finally acknowledging this reality, it’s long overdue. But let’s be clear. @DaveJudson @ngottliebphoto @globeandmail I agree. Unfortunately, though, that is often the problem: even a gov't that is forward thinking with an env. focus can only look towards the next election. A big picture/future plan requires re-election to accomplish, so easier to focus on short-term goals that can be met.

Disappear for holidays instead of doing their job, while Ts spent the break planning for numerous possibilities. #VoteFordOut2022
