Currently holding a blue belt, we’re immensely proud of his achievements, and we’re looking forward to seeing his mantelpiece fill up as he mounts the podium in future competitions.

Tayfusion’s very own Gareth Hampton was on the podium at the start of this month at the @wukfonline Scottish Open Karate Championships.
Gareth has been training at Kanzen Karate under Sensei Roy O’Kane and his team and has progressed rapidly through the belts.

Clearly, it was time to start getting competitive.
This year’s event was held at RPS Dundee and Gareth entered Kata, Ippon Kumite and Sanbon Kumite winning the bronze medal in all three.
