Successful week at #EntSoc23 winning first for my talk on the physiology of plant bugs transitioning from weeds to cotton. What made it even better was being able to celebrate the win with my lab mate @tayloree who rocked it in the insecticide resistance section!
Congrats to 3 VT students who won awards for their presentations at the @EntsocAmerica Eastern Branch meeting!
PhD students Laura McHenry, Fernanda Vasquez-Valverde, and undergrad Lillian Chiang each won 1st place in the respective competition categories! Congratulations you 3!

Checking diamondback back moth traps in Carroll Co. VA with VT grad student Taylore Sydnor @tayloree and VCE agent Ashley Edwards. Moths are flying folks, which means any cabbage, broccoli, or greens being planted could have moths coming to them right away to deposit eggs.
