Deforestation can make bednets less effective. Whoah. New findings from Tafesse Estifanos and team at @gundinstitute. These interactions between nature and health are everywhere, as highlighted this week by the #NexusAssessment here at #IPBES11 in Namibia .
Lose too much forest, and the fight against malaria is harder to win. That's the takeaway from new #UVM research.
