Two more weeks left of the first year of my MSW program. I don’t know if I’m overwhelmed with joy because this means no more zoom classes for awhile or if I’m overwhelmed with anxiety because I’m realizing how many papers/presentations I need to get done in the next two weeks 😂
As I’ve always said, our country’s weakness is not scarcity — it’s greed.
Every single corporate CEO and executive should take a pay cut before even considering furloughs or layoffs.
Thank you all for a great chat! I always look forward to Thursdays with y'all. I hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy #macrosw#csudhmsw501
@Bri84139220 I agree! I have noticed that some conferences are now being recorded, which is beneficial so that people who cannot attend in real time are still able to be included! :D
A4/5: They may be more meaningful/engaging if they are more inclusive. They may be too costly. Also, conferences may only be able to be attended in "real time" which limits the ability for some to attend due to other commitments. #macrosw#csudhmsw501
A3: I haven't had the opportunity to attend a conference. However, a few weeks ago I completed my 40hr DVAT (Domestic Violence Advocate Training). What I enjoyed about the training was collaborating with individuals from different professions #macrosw#csudhmsw501
A2: As a first year MSW student my classes have switched to an online Zoom format. Also, I have been connecting with my peers via Zoom, not just for the purpose of academia, but for social support too. #macrosw#csudhmsw501
A1: Some of the self-care acts that I have been engaging in include lots of journaling and I have also set up a mini makeshift gym in my garage. Although, I must admit I am not a HUGE fan of working out. I also have become an at home baker. #macroSW#CSUDHmsw501
