What Ed Sheeran did wrong tonight:
- Started with Oct 7th
- Called it a conflict
- Pretended that he didn't know enough
- Both Sides it
- Didn't apologise to Macklemore
- Didn't call it a genocide
- Didn't say FREE PALESTINE
- Used a teleprompter
- Didn't blame Israel
Foreign solidarity activists are in a state of shock after Israeli settlers attacked them and Palestinian residents in the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, beating them with clubs and spraying them with pepper spray.
We will never forget how this young man tried to save his mother, dragging her in the most basic way—until an Israeli soldier suddenly fired a shell at them, killing them both instantly.
In 2011, Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea opened a restaurant with no prices on the menu.
One evening, a woman sat down there trying not to cry.
Not because anyone hurt her — but because she had forgotten what it felt like to be treated with dignity.
She had been surviving on vending machine snacks, shelter leftovers, and whatever food she could find. Then someone placed a real meal in front of her.
Warm soup. Fresh vegetables. Dessert on a real plate.
The dining room was calm and welcoming. Cloth napkins. Proper silverware. Soft lighting. Small details that quietly told people: you belong here too.
Then the waiter walked over.
Her stomach dropped. She thought this was the moment she’d have to admit she couldn’t pay.
Instead, he smiled and left a note beside her plate.
There were no prices. Only a suggested donation.
And if she couldn’t afford to pay, she could volunteer her time instead.
No questions.
No shame.
No judgment.
She read the note twice, waiting for the catch.
There wasn’t one.
A little later, she stood at the kitchen sink washing dishes beside volunteers and staff. Somewhere between the warm water, the soap, and the quiet conversations, something inside her shifted.
For the first time in a long time, she no longer felt invisible.
That’s the heart of JBJ Soul Kitchen.
Dorothea Bon Jovi helped build the restaurant around one simple belief: everyone deserves dignity, no matter their circumstances.
No separate lines.
No labels.
No treating people like charity cases.
Guests who can pay help cover meals for others. Those who can’t are invited to help by folding napkins, setting tables, or working in the kitchen.
And beyond the meals, the restaurant connects people with housing support, healthcare resources, job guidance, and local services that can help rebuild lives.
What started as one small restaurant has grown into multiple locations across New Jersey, including spaces serving college students facing food insecurity.
Together, JBJ Soul Kitchen has served more than 200,000 meals.
When the pandemic shut the world down in 2020, they kept going. Meals became takeout. Families were fed. Jon Bon Jovi was spotted washing dishes while Dorothea helped keep everything running.
Millions know Bon Jovi as a rock star.
But one of the most meaningful things he and Dorothea ever built was a place where people could sit down, eat with dignity, and feel seen again.
Because hunger isn’t always just an empty stomach.
Sometimes it’s the feeling that the world has forgotten you.
And that little restaurant with no prices on the menu reminds people of something powerful:
You still matter.
You still belong.
This is the final photographs of Phillip Herron 34, crying in his car, literally minutes before taking his own life.
He was a single Dad with three kids, struggling with crushing debt of over £20,000 and was desperately waiting for a Payday loan he'd applied for. But it was paid in arrears, with a 5 week wait time. That wait drove him even deeper into debt, and when he died he had £4.61 in his bank account and clearly couldn't see any other way out.
Like a lot of people, especially men, he kept all of this to himself, nobody else knew how bad things were getting. This poor man even had to tell his children that Santa Claus wouldn’t come this year, and in his suicide note he wrote that they'd be better off if he wasn't around any more.
And now he isn't.
We need to talk more. We need to be kinder. And we need to be a country that helps each other when we need it the most.
GRAPHIC WARNING ⚠️
I remember this video back when this 1st happened.
What the zionist evil regime did to this child’s face and some many 1000’s more like her will never ever leave my memory. 💔💔💔 😔😢 https://t.co/cXaMYTvPhG
🚨🇮🇱 Four hours after the ceasefire announcement, Netanyahu's office issues a statement in English only, welcoming the pause on Iran but explicitly stating "the two-week ceasefire does not include Lebanon."
Pakistan's PM Sharif announced the ceasefire was "everywhere including Lebanon."
Netanyahu waited four hours and then contradicted him.
This tells you everything.
The Iran war might be pausing, but Israel has no intention of stopping its expansion into southern Lebanon.
Netanyahu already ordered the security zone expanded, his defense minister claimed 10% of the country permanently, and his finance minister said Israel's border should be the Litani River.
Israel wants to keep bombing Lebanon while the world celebrates peace.
And they released the statement only in English, which suggests it was aimed at Washington, or more specifically Trump, and the international press, not Israelis.
The war with Iran may be on pause, but Israel's war for regional hegemony is just getting started.
Trump believes he is threatening Iran with destruction, but it is America that now stands in danger.
If he attempts to eradicate Iranian civilization, the United States will no longer be viewed as a stabilizing force in the world, but as an agent of chaos—effectively ending our status as the world’s greatest superpower.
This would upend our economy and shatter the global order. The process is already underway, yet we still have time to avert catastrophe if Trump finds the courage to pursue serious negotiations rather than reckless rage and destruction.
President Macron scolds the US and Israel for attacking Iran,
"The day you say I don't like your regime, I consider you threatening your neighbour so I will intervene and bomb you, you open a Pandora's box"
"Iran is a very bad regime, no discussion about that. I disagree with on a lot of topics"
"But I don't agree we will fix the situation just by bombings or military operations"
"Look at what happened in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya - we never delivered. Never"
"You have to respect the sovereignty of people, if people want to change a regime, they can do so"
"Having an agenda shared by Korea, France, the other Europeans, Canada, Japan, India, Brazil, Australia, you start having a third way"
"Those who don't want to be dependent on China, or aligned by definition, on the US"
The new price of petrol is Rs 458.41 per litre. It was increased by Rs 134 per litre last night. This increase includes an increase of Rs 55 in petroleum levy. So the government decided to increase tax on petrol by Rs 55 at the same time it was raising prices.
So let’s understand this. The government last night raised petrol prices by Rs 79 per litre but at the same time also decided to raise taxes on petrol by Rs 55 for a total increase of Rs 134 per litre. And it keeps saying it doesn’t want to burden the people and wants to lift the burden itself. Theek ho gaya.
Imagine a 21st-century Pakistan where a former Prime Minister is asking for proper medical treatment for his eye, which has already lost most of its vision, and yet he is denied. He is not asking to be transferred to a hospital in London; rather, he is asking to be transferred to a local hospital where he can receive fair medical treatment. Imagine the credibility of justice system of a country where one former Prime Minister who is medically ill yet not allowed to meet his sisters, while another former Prime Minister gathers his entire former cabinet inside jail.
This is a Pakistan where the courts allowed one former Prime Minister to fly to the UK on questionable or fake medical reports, yet they force another former Prime Minister to be treated locally in the way they decide, not by his own doctors but by the Government doctors who cannot breath without permission.
How kangaroo can the courts be when, on one hand, they send a "Friend of the Court" who presents a concerning report about the former Prime Minister’s medical condition, but on the other hand, they seem bound to follow whatever those in power ask them to do?
I feel pity for this system when it raises its voice for human rights in Iran, Palestine, or anywhere else in the world, while burying the very same rights of one of the most famous and beloved people in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s courts often feel like theaters where judges dance like puppets, the powerful sit back as indifferent spectators, and justice is eaten like popcorn.

At least 108 girls between ages 7 and 12 were killed at their school in Minab. An IRGC base is nearby and was likely the target.
Initial attempts to deflect U.S./Israeli blame for the strike by claiming an Iranian misfire hit the school are undercut by video of the base also being struck. Given the location, it was most likely the Abe Lincoln that massacred these girls.
We sent a reporter to the scene, read the dispatch, a parent’s worst nightmare, below.
