The ministers urging Starmer to go are feeding the hysteria. The next leader will be subject to instant leadership speculation and the next, and the next, whether Labour, Reform or Tory. Britain is becoming ungovernable. And the media fixation on this tittle tattle is not helping
Donald Trump is now again having a mental breakdown over NATO not providing the help he claims he does not need, in an offensive war of his choosing that he claims to have already won, after spending the past year threatening to invade and annex several NATO members.
There are number of Treaties already in place allowing the US forces to be based in Denmark. The last Visiting Forces treaty was signed in 2023. It doesn’t cover Greenland but a simple amendment to it could do, subject to Greenland agreement. 1/4
There plainly isn't even a proper 'deal', just an agreement to discuss certain things. This is a disaster for Trump. He has alienated longstanding and dependable allies, totally isolated his nation, caused Russia and China to laugh up their sleeves, bolstered the liberal-progressive movement (his arch opponents) across Europe and the US, performed a major and humiliating climbdown on his threats - and all for something that his allies and Nato would have been prepared to give him anyway. What a calamity.

Abolishing ILR is a revolting proposal - particularly the threat to do so retrospectively.
A personal example: my wife, who has ILR & has studied, lived, worked here since 08 would be under threat of deportation. We have a son here. There are hundreds of thousands like us.
Every second a Labour MP spends campaigning for a wealth tax is a second that could be spent campaigning for real tax reform that could make the tax system fairer, boost economic growth and (unlike the wealth tax) actually happen.
A thread:
ITV pulling zero punches in this incredible footage - "This landscape of destruction looks otherworldy, but it's not, it's this world - What is happening may come to define one of its darkest eras, one that casts a stain on humanity, which will endure for generations" #Gaza
