@MNState0fHockey@FlyerDie@JFreshHockey I don’t think the Red wings would take that. They don’t have to trade Larkin, so they can afford to wait, or just keep him.
@Sean_C2@JoeBenjamin_@DataDoge@JFreshHockey Yup. I also can’t just see the red wings trading him for futures, there is no way they would go through another rebuild at this point. Any deal involving Larkin would likely need to be a hockey trade.
@MNState0fHockey@FlyerDie@JFreshHockey Red wings are likely looking for a hockey trade. They won’t trade him for just futures, would probs want JEE back.
@JoeBenjamin_@Sean_C2@DataDoge@JFreshHockey Conversely, don’t sign an extension with a team if you don’t want to play out the length of the contract there. Larkin has zero leverage here.
@RingOfFireCGY I think more available data and the introduction of NHLe has really helped predict how good players may be in the nhl, vs just traditional scouting.
@pleasesirmywets@JFreshHockey Unless they get an equal or better replacement, they are better off telling him he’s not getting moved, so let’s work out our differences.
@LashLar97814445@JFreshHockey If they find a comparable replacement, sure, otherwise I’m sitting him down and telling him he’s not getting moved, so let’s talk about what bugging you and figure it out.
