We Just Finished the 3-Day Court Battle last week – Now We Need Your Help to Pay the Bills
Dear Fellow Albertans,
Last week, the Alberta Prosperity Project fought a historic three-day battle in the Court of King’s Bench in Edmonton to defend your democratic right to vote on one simple question:
“Do you agree that Alberta shall become a Sovereign Country and cease to be a province in Canada?”
Jeffrey Rath stood alone in court for three full days, facing off against federal lawyers, provincial intervenors, and endless objections. He did it with strength, clarity, and total conviction.
Here’s what he told the court on the final day:
“To find that holding a lawful referendum on Independence could ‘contravene’ anyone’s rights would be a departure from the rule of law that could bring the administration of Justice in Alberta into disrepute.”
— Jeffrey Rath, Constitutional Lawyer for APP
Justice Feasby has now reserved his decision. Whatever he rules, this case has already made history, and it has also cost us a fortune.
Legal battles like this don’t come cheap. Court filings, transcripts, research, travel, and lawyer time add up fast. We are a volunteer-driven, grassroots movement. Every dollar we spend in court is a dollar that comes from people like you, not Ottawa, not corporations, not special interests.
We need your help right now to cover the costs of this fight.
Can you chip in today? Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to victory.

This is about more than one court case. It’s about proving that regular Albertans can stand up to Ottawa and win — on our terms, with our money, for our future.
We’re so close. Please help us cross the finish line.
Thank you for standing with us.
For Alberta,
Mitch Sylvestre
CEO, Alberta Prosperity Project
P.S. If you can’t give right now, please forward this email to five friends who believe Alberta’s voice matters. Every share helps.

@ABDanielleSmith@DanWMcLean This along with other issues like our health care system in shambles, is becoming political all talk and no action from every level of government. You should all shut up, do your jobs and let's us judge by the actual accomplishments we see. Government is such a waste of money!
@BrianJeanAB@ABDanielleSmith @ToewsforAlberta At least Danielle is willing to say something and stand up to Trudeau. All you and Toews have ever done is kneel down to Trudeau and take what ever he wants to shove down AB throats.
@jkenney@UniteAlberta This is why you were fired by AB. The continous lying and grand staging. You did nothing to help AB. We look forward to a leader who cares about AB and not just themselves!
@UniteAlberta The ONLY reason AB finances are back in order is because of oil prices. The UPC nor Kenney had nothing to do with the increase in oil prices. Don't lie to cover your incompetent admin! Kenney was fired due to his incompetence and we look forward to a leader who cares for AB!
@DanWMcLean A majority of Calgarians would not support it if they knew how much it will cost them personally. With 2 maybe 3 fulltime centre to centre right councilors you will never make a difference unless you have a plan to educate the citizens in the far left wards.
@k_kadey@TerriAd19616659@ABDanielleSmith@DavidStaplesYEG Mistake or greed? She has never told us what she and the MLA's she convinced to cross the isle with her were offered for their personal gain. Deputy Leader was in it for her. When Trudeau comes calling with gifts will she sell us out again?
@TerriAd19616659@ABDanielleSmith@DavidStaplesYEG You are correct. It was Prentice. She sold out the base for her personal gain. Will she do it again when Notley and Trudeau dangle some goodies for her own personal benefit?
