@NoContextBrits Drunk as hell but no throwin' up
Halfway home and my pager still blowin' up
Today I didn't even have to use foreign rain
I gotta say it was a good day
@Britpopmemories Ah, yes, 1996 when Metallica cut their hair and started appearing in the NME...
MM for me. Was getting into the Folk Implosion then, thanks to the Kids soundtrack.
@normanrecords Good to see the F,R record get a rerelease - there was a great little Leeds scene back then; Wrath records and, my personal favourite, Yorkshire grime don Yes Boss.
@TheIDSmiths I much preferred the WH Smiths logo when the W, H and S looked like they were in a 3D cube. English graphic design at it's finest before post neoclassical endogenous growth theory ruined it all.
@bradleyflett@HallamFC1860 Sure, but have you done it on Emlyn Hughes' International Soccer on the Amstrad CPC464? If not, get to the back of the queue.
@Britpopmemories@ReaLouisewener The things Louise had to put up with - even more respect for her, when you look back at interviews like this.
Was reminded that Sleeper did a great Peel session around this time, which I had on tape. Nice Guy Eddie was on the Romeo Me CD single, not sure about the other tracks.
