@wiggsalot @alice196849 @chcknpickle I totally agree and was irritated too! I had WLS 11 months ago, because last year I was in Stage 3 Kidney Failure and my BMI was too high to be allowed on the Transplant waiting list if they reached Stage 4. I'm down 170 lbs from 345 lbs and my kidneys are no longer in failure.

@Not_That_Katie Please feel free to DM me if you have any questions. I pray you get through quickly and safely. I didn't know how many of my issues stemmed from a bad gallbladder...everything was SO much better after removing my gallbladder (it was almost completely full of stones).

@Not_That_Katie You will be fine, don't worry. I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery 2 years ago and it was the easiest surgery recovery I've ever had. Your body will tell you what food it can tolerate, so just make sure you're close to a bathroom when trying new foods. You've got this!

@alanroberts After 28 years, I'm finally back in the 100s! I've gone from 345 to 188.6 lbs so far (still have 30 lbs to go). Why am I showing this weigh in, because I was ASHAMED of showing it before. That number means no more kidney failure and a healthier life for me. #NoLongerAshamed

I'm hoping to keep my loose/excess skin as a reminder of where I came from and to keep health as my focus. Now if it gives me any heath issues, then I'll think about removal.

@gataa150 @outofspoons1 That's wonderful, Congrats! I had to do the same thing with my Stage 3 Kidney Failure. I started a Bariatric program that only restricts you from Bread, Rice Potato, Pasta, and Sweets until you reach your goal weight. Now I'm no longer in any kind of kidney failure.
