HEARTBREAKING. Katelynn Strate, a pregnant 17-year-old from Louisiana, was shot in the head during a road incident by Barry West.

Katelynn was rushed to the hospital, where her baby was delivered healthy at 27 weeks. However, Katelynn is not expected to survive the fatal injuries.

West has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, and obstruction of justice, which will be upgraded once Katelynn is taken off life support.
