A college, at any level, is an educational institution. I feel like a lot of people, with a lot of power, are missing the point.

How come parents never tell their kid’s math teacher how to teach calculus but they think as parents they have the right to tell a coach how much playing time and with whom and when their kid should play.

Nick Saban is right that player and coach pay are "totally different markets." What he's ignoring is that in every other American sport that generates the type of revenue college football generates, the best players make WAY more than the best coaches.
