Por instrucciones de la licenciada @rosaicela_, secretaria de @SEGOB_mx, encabezamos una reunión con integrantes del Grupo de Trabajo del Consejo de la Unión Europea para América Latina y el Caribe (COLAC), a la que asistieron la @SRE_mx y representantes de la Delegación de la Unión Europea en México.

Durante el encuentro compartimos aspectos relevantes de la estrategia de repatriación “México te Abraza”, que es un trabajo articulado e interinstitucional del @GobiernoMX para brindarles atención, alojamiento y traslado a sus comunidades de origen a las mexicanas y los mexicanos provenientes de los Estados Unidos.

Con esta política migratoria humanista de la presidenta @Claudiashein, se garantizan sus #DDHH y se les brinda acceso a los programas y acciones de bienestar, vinculación laboral, salud, educación e inclusión financiera.

En la sesión se encontraban @FAndreUE, Embajador de la Unión Europea en México @UEenMexico; @TBruselas, presidente de #COLAC; @CarlosVaz89, titular de la Unidad de Política Migratoria, Registro e Identidad de Personas #UPMRIP; @SergioSalomonC, comisionado del @INAMI_mx, y la coordinadora de Estrategia Institucional, @Evitahduarte.

REUNIÓN CON EL GRUPO DE TRABAJO DEL CONSEJO DE LA UNIÓN EUROPEA PARA AMÉRICA LATINA Y EL CARIBE (COLAC)

Hoy sostuvimos un encuentro muy valioso con el Grupo COLAC, encabezado por @TBruselas. Fue un honor contar con la presencia del Embajador de la Unión Europea en México, @FAndreUE así como del Lic. @Pedro_Matar de la @SRE_mx

Este grupo, conformado por representantes de los Estados miembros de la @UEenMexico, promueve el diálogo birregional y analiza temas clave en las relaciones políticas, económicas y comerciales entre Europa y América Latina. La visita de trabajo que realizan en México busca conocer mejor nuestra realidad nacional y reafirmar la importancia estratégica de la relación México-UE, rumbo a la firma del Acuerdo Global Modernizado y la Cumbre CELAC-UE.

Como presidente de la Comisión de Relaciones Exteriores Europa, estoy convencido de que espacios como este enriquecen nuestra labor y fortalecen los lazos con cada nación representada.
