@ITCareerHelp Hi Zach, thank you for the helpful vids! I just moved to idaho(not a lot of IT opportunities) and decided to grab an A.A. degree which allows me to snag certs along the way. What advice do you have on grabbing an IT position in an area which has limited openings?
@NetworkChuck hey chuck I’m looking into switching in it. I’d like to go the network route. I’m studying for an a+ cert then onto ccent/ccna. I’m coming from a software product management background but I’m just curious as to a certain path to take that you recommend. Cont....
@NetworkChuck Thanks for the reply! I’ve only been in the role 8 months. So new still but it’s not satisfying. I’ll just get some certs and more python xp and roll with it. IT just seems amazing and I enjoy the tinkering I do. Thanks again
I make goodmoney here but I’m considering moving back to Dallas with my soon2b fiancé and quite frankly starting at a low paying help desk job is causing me to stop in fear. I’m very interested in it though. So take a huge pay cut to start out in IT or are there other options?
D44: Completed my gallery page and landing page. Check em out and lmk what you think. https://t.co/HZuvpT4bT7 Now on to #bootstrap4 ! #codenewbie#github
D43: #100daysofcode I am creating my landing page. I am coding along with the instructor. I don't instantly retain much but repetition has helped me greatly. Only have the bootstrap 4 part before its #javascript time. Still conflicted between choosing JSt or #python. #codenewbie
Day41: #100daysofcode I am still on bootstrap. This course goes over bootstrap and #bootstrap4 in it. Currently making a web image gallery page. It is interactive and utilizes #jQuery#Javascript. Finally getting my feet wet. #CodeNewbie
@elyktrix Thanks! I just thought I wasn't cut out for programming and that I wouldn't amount to anything in regards to obtaining a future in the field.
Day40: #100daysofcode Well I ran into the imposter syndrome roughly 3 days ago. Thought about completely stopping programming and focus more on the IT side of things. But after talking to a few people I have regained my motivation. Thanks y'all! #codenewbie#frontend
