I believe that the defense should be able to request changes but if it starts to delay the trial, as it seems it has, there should be a limit to how many days the defense team has to once again prepare for the trial. This way it wouldn't be as appealing to make changes as much.

The damage someone can make in one night, let alone one year, can be monstrous. I believe one year is a long time to find a shooting suspect but at the end of the day a suspect was identified and therefore they are one step closer to getting justice for the victim.

What does getting rid of the dogs entail? With no evidence to support which dog initiated the fight it does not seem just to put any or all of the dogs down. Although removing them from the home does not sound like a good enough solution.

As a woman, one of my biggest fears is being sexually assaulted. I am happy that they have arrested the man but 4 years seems like a long time. It doesn't make me feel anymore safe to know that he's behind bars now only after 4 years. Will the next suspect take 4 years to catch?

Maybe it is because this year I actually pay attention to the news but it seems to me that there is a lot more violence that usual in Toronto and the GTA. I definitely do not feel as safe walking around GTA neighbourhoods at night as I did a few months ago.

How was this man able to be alone with his child. This is unfathomable to me. He sexually assaults his 4 year old son and then he is allowed to be alone with him after serving his time in prison? Ridiculous. I believe all visitation rights should be revoked or at minimum reduced.

Is it possible this could be a manufacturing error? That could result in a big lawsuit. It could also be criminal negligence if either the pilot didn't check or there were problems in previous flights. Would a reasonable person know to try to find the flaw in the engine?

I agree that it is crucial that the infant is found. The child could be in imminent danger but then again there may be some viable reasons the mother would have taken her child. There is a few possibilities, is it kidnapping or are they running from something, maybe abuse?

Personally I don't believe she deserves bail. She is obviously mentally unstable and that alone warrants her a reason to not be released. Letting her out on bail provides a threat to the safety of society and especially her 3 year old son. That is one of the requirements for bail
