@cremieuxrecueil Your victory lap is unbecoming. Obviously wasn’t a good guy but reveling in his death isn’t where it’s at man. See Claire Lehmann for example of an appropriate response.
@stevehwilson@shre98 Spot on. Sure, can see why journalist looks at it that way. But “just enjoy the ride, at least you’re better than last year isn’t how Kansas fans think. We want titles.
@JayhawkTalk I want him back as bad as anyone but isn’t Bill making the right call? It sucks and I hate losing, especially to teams like Duke and UConn, but some non-con Ls in exchange for having team in best possible shape for conference play and March is trade I’m willing to make.
@JonRothstein Jon, do you think you might have underrated Kansas?? I hope you’re enjoying Campagnola or wherever you are tonight instead of having good opinions on college basketball.
@RobertMSterling You wouldn’t believe how many PE folks I’ve seen absolutely terrified by this exact lady (Diane from Indiana, owns a family printing shop)
@M_Vernon best line from that speech is “and you know why I’m so confident we’re going to win? Because we don’t have to change one thing about who we are”
@AlexanderM0829@M_Vernon We’ll be more than fine but still stings pretty good nonetheless. I did get a kick out of the headlines quoting him “I think we can win a conference championship.” That’s cute lol.
@bturner23 He also had 2024 No. 1 recruit Tre Johnson in for a visit last weekend and has 2024 No. 2 recruit Flory Bidunga coming in for a visit this weekend. Guy is absolutely lasered in.
@olivertraldi You didn’t ask for my advice, but there are respectful ways to hold people accountable and stick up for yourself. Don’t view it as inherently confrontational and calmly explain your rationale and/or ask for other person’s view on the situation to understand any disconnect
