I’m glad I took the detour down the rabbit hole of adding optional AI/ML-assisted spectrum operations to the new DragonOS. Sure, it might take a little longer to finish, but having it scan spectrum, classify signals using trained models, back that up with existing decoders, and then use AI on the backside to help make sense of everything gathered is a bit insane.

This rabbit hole might have been worth it.

All modern connected cars do this. GM, Ford, and BMW all collect driving data. Some sell it to insurers. Tesla's telemetry has been subpoenaed in criminal cases and divorces, placing drivers at specific locations at specific times.

Before you drive somewhere you'd rather not have on record, your car is taking notes. Disabling telematics varies by manufacturer. Some vehicles let you opt out through settings, others require dealer intervention, and some collect data regardless. Tesla's data sharing settings are in Controls, Safety, and Data Sharing, but the car still logs locally.
