Working collaboratively we made a dragon in our block play area. We gave him legs, a body and wings. Sharpe spikes were added along his back, a long neck and lots of teeth.
We finished by adding red scales to make him look like the one on the Welsh flag.
Little Turtle has been teaching us how to be responsible when we are in school. We have to look after our equipment and help to tidy up.
This week he explained what the word compliment means and we gave our Turtle Helpers compliments π
We ended our Chinese New Year week with a Chinese party ππ
The food was delicious. We were so full we needed a sleep like the pig in the story π·π€
Playgroup join us too!
Last week we learned about capacity. We looked at the water in the containers to see if they were full, half full or empty. We estimated how many spoons it would take to fill the small , medium and large containers!
Yesterday a very exciting package arrived, an egg! We didnβt know what animal had left for us to look after. Dillys left us a letter and some clues to help us find her. What animal is she? When will her egg hatch?
Noodle numbers π
What can you find in the noodles? What Numicon have you found? How do you know? Can you find the number symbol? How many jewels did you find? If I give you one more, how many will you have now? Use the Numicon plate to help you check π€π 0οΈβ£1οΈβ£2οΈβ£3οΈβ£4οΈβ£5οΈβ£6οΈβ£7οΈβ£8οΈβ£9οΈβ£π
