@AIPollCFB@ballendorf0001 I don’t think margin of victory is that important. Teams run out clock instead of running up the score or remove starters when ahead, or go for it on fourth down when behind a little since the goal isn’t to minimize a point differential when behind, but to overcome it and win.
@ballendorf0001@AIPollCFB@ESPNCFB But if each of those teams had beaten Kentucky, they’d be A&M 2-2, SC 2-2, OU 2-1, and LSU 3-1. So it’s a bit circular to include the Kentucky loss in their SEC records for the purpose of diminishing Kentucky’s resume.
@TheBigXIIExp@webbskillz@jared_slyh@PEARatings There’s a flaw in your logic. LSU would currently be top ten if it had beaten Kentucky. So Kentucky wins and knocks them down and that means Kentucky played an LSU team that it knocked out of the top 10 there it doesn’t get credit for a top 10 win. Got it.
@bamaperspective@select_asterisk Not turning the ball over is not “luck boxing.” The difference between Kentucky being 6-1 and 3-4 is the turnover margin.
@KyleyNorman@AnonEmoosetoo@SenThomTillis Kids will be fine. In fact, Hanging Day was a family affair until sometime in the 19th century. People attended with their children out of civic duty to give legitimacy to the sentence. And probably out of morbid curiosity.
