Hunter Shelton and Dallas Ahart continued their hot streak this year and came away with the win! Since the start of school, they have fished 4 tournaments together, winning 3 and taking 2nd in the other. Today they beat out 40+ other teams to take the win!

Hunter Shelton, freshman, takes the win in our first tournament of the year on Lake Beshear. He weighed 4 fish for 9.69 lbs and had a 4.24 lb kicker. Jordan Hampton, freshman, took 2nd place with 2 fish weighing 6.38 lbs and had the big bass of the tournament at 5.38 lbs.

Trigg County won their fifth district baseball title in six years Tuesday with an 11-1 win over Crittenden County. Wildcat pitchers allowed one run and five hits in 14 innings in the tourney.

Congratulations to Andrew Greene and Anthony Ethridge for qualifying for the KHSAA Fishing State Championship.

The fishing is as difficult as I have ever seen and the competition is better than ever. They finished 16th out of 80 with 3 bass weighing 7 lbs 14 oz.

Due to the threat of storms and high wind forecast, our tournament for Saturday has been canceled. As of now, there is no rescheduled date. Our next tournament will be April 14 at Barkley State Park.
