The presence of a legal firearm alone isn't usually grounds to extend the stop indefinitely or search the car without more (consent, probable cause, etc.), but mentioning it voluntarily often changes the tone and procedure right away. Depends on the state but the routine traffic stop changes when the gun is declared and based on differences in state to state procedures which I do not know where this was theres different things that can happen but i agree having him at gunpoint after complying seems a bit much

100% agree, but I disagree because the cops are not allowed to search his trunk without a reason and how do you actually know what 100% veracity that the gun is in the trunk and that he does not have another gun on him when it comes to guns. It’s hard to just take somebody’s word in my opinion, but as always, these videos feel a lot of abuse by power of the police. I’m not a lawyer by any stretch.
