Please explain how you expect California elections to be legitimate when this is how lax the rules re to register and vote? Under these rules, the same person could easily use multiple aliases and vote multiple times, fictitious people could easily be registered and vote, illegal aliens could register and vote.

𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘢 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 ��𝘳𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳’𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘦, the state’s own U.S. Attorney, Bill Essayli, told Glenn Beck — and he was not talking about hospice scams. He was describing how, step by step, the legislature has 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝-𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝, starting at the very first one: registering to vote.

His claim checks out on the Secretary of State’s own website. You do not need a driver’s license number, and you do not need a Social Security number — 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐨𝐱 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬 “𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞,” 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬���𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝. California’s answer is that you’ll show ID the first time you vote. So Essayli pulled up the state’s own list of acceptable IDs: a gym membership, a prescription label, an employer badge — and, his favorite, 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐬.

From there it compounds. California mails a ballot to everyone on the rolls whether they asked for one or not, and Essayli says those rolls are dirty — never scrubbed of the dead, the moved, or the ineligible. Then, in 2018, the state 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞’𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐲 and no record of who touched them.

That, he argues, is the real problem for a prosecutor: you cannot build a fraud case when the state has deliberately erased the evidence. Essayli and DOJ’s Harmeet Dhillon are now suing California in the Ninth Circuit to force it to comply with federal law and prove only eligible citizens sit on its rolls. The state is stonewalling.
