@briandefelice_ If its true they want to still add to the right side in the top 4, it feels like they need to move on from 3 guys especially if Brunet is getting a look: Lohrei, Joki to start. Then its one of Zadorov, Lindholm, Aspirot
The #NHLBruins have acquired forward Kalle Vaisanen and a 2028 fourth-round draft pick from the New York Rangers in exchange for goaltender Joonas Korpisalo.
Best of luck, Korpi!

@SoxAndBruins They either are extending Robertson or have another move in the works. If they move Robertson they would keep Bourque. So, Bourque was always going to be attached w/ Lyubushkin to free up space. Also, every GM could have made a better offer by your logic. Not a Don issue - pal.
@Bos88Enjoyer They couldn't take on the lyubushkin contract, thats the reason for the non-first rounders involved. Good player, but a massive miss is crazy talk. Every other GM missed then
There will have to be some big time eating of money or if its a low cost trade for me to defend Sweeney on a Nurse trade. I already have to watch Zadorov be terrible, I don’t need to then watch Nurse come here and stink for even more money
For all the Don Sweeney haters a friendly reminder as GM in 11 full seasons the Boston Bruins have been to the playoffs 9 times including a cup final and a team that holds the record for points all time.
The amount of hate this man gets for being successful is ridiculous.
@officialbob26 I can’t decide if its funny how dumb these bruins fans are or embarrassing to root for the same team. People just spew shit with 0 hockey intelligence. Lets bring in a bad 9.25M contract because he hits a few more guys a year than Lindholm! Nurse would be a horrible here
Still some final touches needed, and it can’t be announced officially until July 1, but Flyers and Dan Vladar closing in on five-year extension which will carry $5.5M AAV.
@AceIn603 I can agree to saying you don’t need the depth there at the moment. Just don’t think its fair to really say they took this player significantly too high when they believed he wouldnt. A skater picked at that spot is still 2-3 years away at the earliest fwiw
@AceIn603 Their holistic drafting has been bad, no arguments. But to your point, if they’re track record is so bad, then taking a goalie (who they’ve had more success with) is a better pick in the second round since they struggle with taking skaters. They got their guy
Not for nothing, but there have now been a bunch of goalies picked this year, and they are not even remotely following the public or central scouting ranks. Clearly the position with the biggest discrepancy between public ranks and what NHL teams are actually doing.
@briandefelice_ That’s fair. I do find it odd they havent picked at that position specifically.
I’m of the mind that to make that decision there, they really like the kid. so I can’t get mad for not taking the Dman there. But i can agree that had to be a point of emphasis before R7
